Woman’s Day, New Zealand’s top-selling weekly women’s magazine, is looking for a dynamic Deputy Editor to join its busy team.
This is a key senior role within the editorial department with the opportunity for career development. Working closely with the Editor-in-Chief and our editorial and digital teams, you will be responsible for generating story ideas, writing features, commissioning and editing copy, organising photo shoots as well as managing key contributors. You will be driven, enthusiastic and ambitious, with the ability to deliver lively and clean copy at a cracking pace. You will also create digital and video content for the nowtolove.co.nz website and help manage Woman’s Day social media accounts.
We are looking for an outstanding journalist with at least five years’ magazine or newspaper experience who will live and breathe Woman’s Day. You will be well-organised and a competitive self-starter with plenty of initiative, commercial knowledge and a commitment to editorial excellence.
