Account Manager – Advertising
An opportunity exists for a super sales person to join the advertising team that look after the Victorian Direct and Boutique Agency Sales team.
The Account Manager will work across the entire Bauer cross-platform portfolio, including revered brands such as The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, ELLE Australia, Gourmet Traveller, Harper’s Bazaar, Real Living and Australian House & Garden.
The Account Manager will develop and nurture exceptional client relationships and sell integrated cross-platform solutions that deliver on our client objectives across print, digital, social & events.
You will be responsible for achieving your targets by growing market share within your defined client portfolio along with prospecting and securing new business from advertisers.
You must be able to sell, and you need to love the hustle. That’s essential. You must also have a great imagination, a determined approach and be in love with print and online media.

As the key contact for internal stakeholders across all areas of your client portfolio, you will work collaboratively on all briefs, new business pitches, proactive revenue opportunities, and campaign maintenance and event activations to deliver best practice outcomes for our clients.

You are a driven and highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record in sales and account management. You will have exceptional attention to detail, a customer centric attitude, determination to succeed and disciplined nature.
Required Skills include:
- Proven successful sales experience in Media/Advertising required
- Proven track record in the sales process & account management
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to build strong business relationships with clients
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and collaboratively through the sales process
- An enthusiastic team player, who is determined to succeed
