Are you a superstar digital performance marketer looking to step up and take on the next big challenge? Bauer Media is launching an in-house digital marketing agency and is looking for a digital marketing go-getter to help establish and grow this marketing services capability for small and medium size clients.
We are looking for someone who knows performance marketing channels like Google AdWords, YouTube and Facebook Ads Manger like the back of their hand. More than that, we want someone who is excited by the prospect of helping launch and establish a small business unit, in a role that has the potential to build and manage a team in the near future.
In this role you will be responsible for driving tangible business results for clients every day with your smart, strategic approach to full-funnel digital marketing and your hands-on implementation wizardry across a range of SEM, Social, SEO and email campaigns.
The Digital Performance Marketing Specialist role is perfect for an intermediate to senior digital, search, social and email savvy marketer who has a desire to take the next step in dynamic and varied role that you will not find elsewhere. The perfect candidate will have a mix of skills and experience ranging from search engine marketing, performance based display advertising and remarketing, through to paid social media marketing. Keeping abreast of changes to platform (Google, Facebook) trends and algorithms will come as second nature. While digital product and/or basic coding experience is not essential, it may come in handy for trouble shooting. A basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles will also be helpful.
While we are interested in someone who knows their stuff, of equal importance is their ability to be a self-starter and keep learning in an environment that is constantly changing and evolving. This is a true “right-brain left-brain” role that requires exceptional numeracy and attention to detail, plus high levels of people skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Digital campaign strategy, implementation and optimisation (SEM, social, display, YouTube)
- Campaign reporting, analytics, and conversion and attribution tracking
- Developing insights from client digital audits and campaign reporting data
- Building relationships with key stakeholders and delivering first-class client service
- Project management for digital campaign production
- Small business marketing and developing useful marketing products and solutions for SME clients
- Good writing skills for developing effective ad creative
This dynamic and varied role will start with campaign strategy, designing workflows and processes, and hands on implementation and optimisation. It will also progress down a pathway to leading a team in the near future.
