To capitalise on new growth opportunities, we are seeking a hands-on Editor for Australia’s leading earthmoving and civil construction machinery media brands, Earthmovers & Excavators and TradeEarthmovers.com.au.
Reporting to the General Manager – Transport & Machinery, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and commissioning high quality, unique and engaging content for print, web, email and social media channels, supported by a small team of internal and external contributors.
The role requires strong management and teamwork skills and the ability to work to tight daily, weekly and monthly deadlines without letting editorial standards slip.
Experience in B2B magazine editing and production, as well as digital content production and optimisation, is essential. Knowledge of, or interest in, the earthmoving and civil construction machinery sector is preferred.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Proven experience in producing B2B print and digital media products
- The ability to write and source news and features for print and online platforms
- Knowledge of and/or interest in earthmoving and civil construction machinery – or related area
- The ability to form strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including advertisers
- The ability to work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify and exploit commercial opportunities.
